New publication on the topic: Material influence on the failure probability of rolling bearings in connection with WEC

The bearing technology department of the MSE works, among other things, on the clarification of damage mechanisms in rolling bearings. Currently, one focus of great interest is research into the formation of white etchable structural changes and in particular the formation of white etching cracks (WEC). A new publication on this research focus was published together with the Technical University of Denmark under the title "Accelerated White Etch Cracking (WEC) FE8 type tests of different bearing steels using ceramic rollers". The authors from MSE are Francisco Gutiérrez Guzmán, Martin Linzmayer and Prof. Georg Jacobs. The research article is available on Science Direct at the following address:
