Mr. Amin Loriemi (M.Sc.) studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in ‘Development and Design’ at RWTH Aachen University from 2011 to 2018.
Since April 2018, he has been a scientific researcher at the Chair for Wind Power Drives. Here, among other things, he worked as a project manager in the research project ‘MaxCap - base load optimized wind turbine for demand-oriented energy production’.
Mr. Loriemi's research includes the analysis of wind turbines and their components using finite element method (FEM) and multibody simulation (MBS), as well as the validation of these systems using the CWD's 4MW test bench. In particular, the development of simulation-based load monitoring systems for the estimation of main bearing and rotor loads represents a special focus of his work.
