Jonas Marheineke, M.Sc. studied at RWTH Aachen University from 2011 to 2015 towards a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in "Design Technology". There later in 2016 he also successfully completed the Master degree program "Development and Construction".
Since December 2016, Mr. Marheineke has been active as a research associate at MSE (formerly IME and IKT) in the Bearing Technology department. There he deals among other things with the use of bearings in slow-speed planetary gears, like those deployed in wind turbines.
In teaching, Mr. Marheineke is the single point of contact in the Tribology course for the topic of bearings.
He is also responsible for organizing the 18th drive technology colloquium in March 2019.
