Vita
Lukas Irnich studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in "Development and Design" at RWTH Aachen University until 2021. He wrote his master's thesis at the Institute for Machine Elements and Systems Engineering (MSE) on “Morphological combination and evaluation of technical concepts using formal principle solution structures”.
Since June 2021, Mr. Irnich has been working as a research associate at the MSE in the department of Systems Engineering - Design Methodology. H e is responsible for the course „Machine Design I“. His research focus is the function-oriented generation and objective evaluation of technical concepts in model-based systems engineering.
