Vita

Marcel Winkler completed his Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Engineering: Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2011 to 2015 with a specialization in the topic Design Technology. In 2017 he successfully completed the Master degree program in Business Administration and Engineering: Mechanical Engineering further specializing in Design Methodology as well as Innovation- and Technologymanagement also at RWTH Aachen University.

Mr. Winkler has been employed as a research associate at the Institute for Machine Elements and Systems Engineering in the department of Systems Engineering - Design Methodology since November 2017. In his research Mr. Winkler focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in part identification for additive manufacturing with the mission to contribute in leveraging applications of AM in the industry.
