Vita

Mr. Meißner studied Mechanical Engineering with the specialization Development and Design at RWTH Aachen University.
He wrote his Bachelor thesis at Festo AG & Co. KG in Esslingen with the title “Determining a process model to characterize the gripping behavior of the FlexShapeGripper from the Festo AG & CO.KG”; he completed his master thesis at the MSE titled “Development of a Toolbox to support small companies in implementing efficient Eco-Design strategies within their product development process”.

Since 2019 Mr. Meissner works at the MSE as research associate in the Department of Systems Engineering – Modelling and Simulation. He manages the “Machine Design I” course and deals with the topics of Model Based Systems Engineering.
