Pál Horváth studied 2011-2015 in the Germanspeaking Bachelor's program of the Budapest University of Technology - with an Audi Scholarship one semester at the KIT - Mechanical Engineering with the specialization machine construction. After an internship in the Engine Start-up Center of Audi, he developed tightening processes (incl. machine technology) for the test engine assembly/analysis in his bachelor thesis.

During his master studies in Development and Design at the RWTH Aachen University (2015-2018), he completed internships in plant engineering for the oil industry and powertrain development for an automotive engineering partner. As a student research assistant as well as in his master thesis he developed and validated basic elements of a design guideline for the use of additively manufactured molds in polyurethane processing at the Chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM).

He then worked until August 2019 as a research assistant at PEM in the development of digital products and services for a German OEM.

Since September 2019, he has been earning his doctorate - driven by his previous product development practice - at the Institute for Machine Elements and Systems Engineering in the research division Systems Engineering - Modelling and Simulation.
