Vita

Reza Golafshan received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 and 2015, respectively. He had been employed as a research engineer at the R&D Center of ORS Bearings, Inc.

Mr. Golafshan joined the Institute for Machine Elements and Systems Engineering, MSE, formerly IME, as a research associate in the Department of Systems Engineering - Modelling and Simulation (formerly Drive Technology) in September 2016. At the MSE, he primarily focuses on the topics of vibroacoustic source separation in mechanical systems and machine fault diagnosis using advanced signal processing techniques and numerical modelling.

Mr. Golafshan is a teaching assistant and organizes the course “Machine Acoustics and Dynamic Causes” offered in the Master’s Degree Program.
