From 2007 to 2011, Adeel Akram studied the Bachelor degree program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan, and subsequently worked for a year as a trainee engineer at Pakarab Fertilizers Limited in Pakistan. He then taught in the field of construction and CAD at the University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan from 2012 to 2014. Mr. Akram came to RWTH Aachen University in 2014 to study the Automotive Engineering Master degree program, which he completed in 2017 with a Master thesis entitled ""Material Modeling of Woven Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Composites (CFRP) with Numerical Optimization Tools for Crash Simulation".

Mr. Akram has been employed as a research associate at MSE in the Reserach Department of Systems Engineering - Process Development (formerly Multi-material Systems / Eco-design) since 2017.
