Structural Design and Construction
Content
The "Structural Design and Construction" course is offered jointly by MSE and SLA, short for Institute of Structural Mechanics and Lightweight Design. The objective is to provide students of the Master degree program "Automotive Engineering and Transport" the non-product-specific engineering fundamentals for methodical solution of structural problems. MSE for its part will teach the general construction process or methodical product development, systematic development of principle solutions, and qualitative shape / structure designs. Quantitative design is included in the second part of the SLA module.
Current dates and further information can be found in the RWTH Aachen University Campus System and in RWTHmoodle.
The exam lasts for 120 minutes.
